I had a lovely time at the Bay Area HP meetup hosted by rexluscus. I don't think most people knew who I was, except those I already knew or had met at Lumos, and that suits me fine. Fandom obscurity is a beautiful thing. Apparently despite enjoying a bit too much sangria, I managed to say something smart about CoS as an extended metaphor for puberty.

I like what elfwreck said: "I met X and we chatted about the slavery of house elves, I met Y and she was lovely and vibrant and just enchanting to watch, I met Z and she was quiet and serene just like you'd expect." She's right, every con report does sound like that. :P

And then which was the one who had the same birthday as me? I think it was perverse_idyll.
