The only thing I hate worst than take-a-million-years-to-find-87-cents people are the ones who don't even bother to pull out their checkbooks until after everything has been rung up, and then they fumble for a pen, and want to know what the date is, and then, even after their transaction's complete, their order is bagged and they should be getting the hell out of my way, they CONTINUE TO STAND THERE AND BALANCE THE TRANSACTION IN THEIR CHECKBOOK REGISTER.
