Hello! I'm pauraque and I'm pleased to meet you.

I've been involved in online fandom since the mid-90s, starting with The X-Files and Star Trek, and branching out to Harry Potter when it came around. Most of the fanfic I've written has been Harry Potter, but I also write other stuff and read pretty widely. I am an inveterate multishipper, multikinkster, lover of rarepairs and rare characters, and enthusiast of slash, het, femslash, and gen. If it's a good story, I'll read it, and I'm most likely to pick a prompt when it's something I've never written before.

_hannelore is a frequently recurring character in my journal, partly because she is my wife but also because she is my best friend. We live in Vermont with our son.
