Haha, yeah, I know what you mean. I actually caught a mistake recently in a professional translation of a computer game I was playing (I went to the Duolingo forums to confirm it really was wrong). It's one thing in fanfic, but you'd hope the pros could get it right! But I'm sure that for every mistake I notice, there are many others that would just go over my head.
