I collected pets fairly intensively too for a while when they released the Pokemon-like minigame that you can play with them. But at times when I'm not playing the minigame as much, I tend to forget about it. (My dream/nightmare is that they release mount-related breeding or racing minigames like Final Fantasy had with its mounts.)

My dad is a gamer too! He introduced me to most of the PC games I liked as a kid.
