Peter/Ron rec! :: Anti-work icons.

As many of you know, I think Peter/Ron is an unfairly neglected pairing, so I was thrilled to hear that lycoris was working on a Peter/Ron fic. (She herself seemed quite traumatized by the prospect, but *I* was pleased. *g*)

"In the Still of the Night" [NC-17, Peter/Ron, Peter/Percy] was posted today, and I'm happy to say that it's a wonderfully disturbing tale after my own twisted heart. Peter is spot-on, his internal voice so defensively innocent, so good at justifying wrong. No moral compass whatsoever, only can I get away with it? I adore how creepy he is in this fic... that combination of love and muffled aggression, submission and dominance. Just as it should be.

As lycoris duly notes, this story has non-con somnophilia chan, which in mundane-speak is sex with an unsuspecting underage boy while he's sleeping. (This is the type of sentence you find yourself writing when you don't keep a separate journal for RL. *shakes head*)

*ponders doing a Pettigrew/Weasley master-list*

EDIT: Okay, I wanna do it. Know a fic where Peter is paired with a Weasley? Any Weasley? Comment and let me know, I'll make a list.

Work was awful today. Rather than talk your ears off, I shall express my woe in 100x100 form. These are both iconized versions of postcards... which, ironically, I got at work.

*blush* Thank you very much, I'm so glad that you liked it. I was very traumatised and so was my beta reader (my older sister) but at least someone liked it. :D It bothered me how easy Peter was to write actually...Peter, GET BACK! BACK IN THAT CORNER! STAY!

Wet Christmas (http://www.livejournal.com/users/donnaimmaculata/599.html#cutid1) by Donna Immaculata. (From my recs page: The main character, Bill, was not born with the knowledge and experience of a sex god -- he is young and inexperienced and learning as he goes. Wet Christmas takes place in the shower, with Bill doing a little self exploration... with Scabbers the rat watching on. Wonderful descriptions and characterizations as well as totally believable internal dialog makes this a very enjoyable story to read.)
