Eo's journal: Extra-dorky Gay Pride Day edition

Pride Day would be a lot better if it meant we all got a day off work.

But it is improved, this year, by very nearly coinciding with PotC fandom's one-year anniversary. Congrats, you swishswashbuckling fiends. Let no one say that you are a flash in the pan.

EDIT: When's HP fandom's anniversary? What day was the first book released?

We've created a monster! [livejournal.com profile] pervy_werewolf has just announced the Lupin's Cardigan mini-challenge. But it isn't just limited to the cardigan, oh no -- "the baggy butt trousers, the drab robes, the shoes, etc." are also included.

This madness has culminated in the inevitable: [livejournal.com profile] cardigangsters.

As I was saying to [livejournal.com profile] aubrem the other day, this is very unlike me -- I'm normally a book-canon stickler. I have no excuse. I shall henceforth hang my head in movie-fanon shame while writing movie-Lupin with evil glee.

[livejournal.com profile] hprarepairs has also just opened its doors. Open to het and slash, fic and art, all ratings, provided the pairing is uncommon.

David Thewlis has a big cock.

Well, he does.

Somewhere, someone noted that Total Eclipse and PoA have the same rating (don't remember in which country), meaning that a werewolf is as scary as David Thewlis's cock (and vice versa).

He also goes full frontal in Naked. Certainly has nothing to be ashamed of... in that department. *g*

*falls off chair howling with laughter*

Oh God, oh god, oh god, oh god, that is TOO FUCKING FUNNY! You have to find out which country it is and tell me because I want to move there!

Naked. What happens in that? It sounds promising. :) (not that I want to see David Thewlis again with no clothes on. Of course not!)

It's an episodic story where Thewlis plays a sort of anti-hero living on the edge of desperation, and we follow him as he crosses paths with various sorts of people on a day and night in London. It's quite adult, and often disturbing, but I liked it very much.

I reviewed it in more depth here.

It sounds quite good. I might attempt to find that. Thanks!
