oh my, yes.

You know what the AJPW series needs?

Argus Filch.

Someone must write this.

Well, at least we'd know SOMEONE would be happy in that universe.

Though Lord V isn't likely to take any kindlier to Squibs than to anyone else.

Hmmm. This could get very bad.

Oh dear.

Hmm! I wonder what everyone would think of his fate. Would he have been a mere stain on the stone floors of Hogwarts when V. took over...would V. have decided to let him live, very much the prisoner, because no one knew Hogwarts like he did? Might have been a useful prisoner to keep around...

Hm, indeed! Someone besides me needs to write it, though, because I know I'd end up playing it for tragic irony... 'Too Much of a Good Thing', it would be called.

Argus Filch would be one of the very worst victims of the takeover besides Harry: he would be beaten and whipped and tortured until he's everything but a stain on the floor, but he would be kept alive. He would probably be kept alive only enough to keep all of his toys (and all of the DE's toys) in good shape and to show the DE's around the castle and to the really good hiding spots, but he would rather be dead.

*grins, gives you the little "You said it, man," nudge of agreement with elbow* Couldn't have said it better.
