My phone broke and I'm having to get a new one. This makes me very sad, because I loved my old phone (I paid extra to get it instead of whatever crappy phone came with the plan) and they don't make it anymore.

Perhaps it's better that it broke outright, since it was limping along for quite a while, unable to hold a battery charge for any significant length of time. I know they manufacture them so that the battery will eventually go bad and you'll have to get a new one, but I was willing to cope with it until I move, since MetroPCS doesn't cover Vermont and I'm going to have to get a new plan then anyway.

Sometimes I think Brazilian Portuguese is my favorite Romance lang to listen to, even though it's the one I understand the least of, out of the major ones. Its phonology has pretty much everything I like about Spanish, Italian, and French, and none of what grates on me about them. (Sorry French, je t'aime... but your fricatives drive me insane.)
