This was totally lovely! Harry's desperation for company and human contact, and Remus, so gentle and also thriving on being around Harry after Sirius' death. Very showing-not-telling throughout. And a lovely preslash-foreshadowing too, even if it works just as well reading it as pure gen.
Found it via chthonya's Gen Rec List, and am very glad for that - it's a wonderful read.
