Well, that episode kind of fell apart towards the end. I was really hoping they'd have the stones to kill Zoey, but it didn't happen, so it was all pretty pointless. Also, what was with that intern? Dumb.

But here's what I did like:

Towards the beginning, there's a shot that comes up from the floor and reveals Leo sitting in a chair. The camera pauses on his hand, and his wedding ring catches the light. We realize that Leo has symbolically sacrificed his family for his country, and that Jed has been asked to do the same thing in actuality.

I loved that shot.

Ooooh, nice catch on the ring. I enjoyed the shot only because it gave us such a needed glimpse into Leo's uncertainty and concerns, but now I appreciate it even more.

I commented in Vanzetti's journal to you, but that ep really was disappointing. And the trailer for next week...*sigh*. I know NBC has the worst marketing department on earth, but jeez, they could not possibly make the show less interesting in their teasers.
