Ah, I see. I think we're working from different definitions of bravery. While I agree that taking a moral stand and sticking to it is courageous, I also think that what Peter did took some serious stones, and that also comes under my definition of courage.
It's a personal thing. For example, I really question why Lupin is in Gryffindor, while to other people, it's obvious -- they see living with a disability as courageous in itself.
