I got some terrible news today. A member of my immediate family has cancer.

I don't really plan to post anything more about it publicly, out of respect for her privacy, but I thought it would be common courtesy to let my online friends know about it... Current projects will be on the back-burner for a while, and if I seem distant, I prefer that people aren't left wondering why.

So. There it is. Wow.
