yahoo headache :: the march of fantime
Jan. 16th, 2004 12:03 amThere are a few non-LJ people who want to get site update notifications from me, so I set up a yahoogroup. Trouble is, the thing doesn't work. When people send email to the subscription addy, they get no response. I reproduced the error with an extra email address of mine -- there's just no answer. I also tried inviting my extra email, and that didn't work either. Membership is set to be open. What am I doing wrong?

Actually, what I'd really like to see is a news bulletin with an 'international' section, so you can see the biggest headlines from other fandoms. I like the multifandom aspect of LJ... having some sense of the state of things in a broader media fan community.
