When I saw this, I dropped what I was saying to the person I was IMing with, and instead squealed something along the lines of "Aaaaaaagh, my favorite artist posted belated birthday art for meeeeeee! *collapse*"

Evelia tells whole stories with her images, and this is no exception. Peter's expression of thought and worry... the details in the shadows (don't miss the painting at the upper left)... I love it. Go look!
I said I would post links to the fics I alluded to in the anonymous meme, and so I shall.
76. You're the author of the only Snape/Hermione fic I ever liked.

Mm. This is so wonderfully dreamy and disjointed, how could I not like it?
'His mind offers up a memory; red and yellow and purple chrysanthemums tracing a spotted path down to the Hogwarts lake.'
81. You are quite possibly my favorite writer ever. No one else writes like you. I am a helpless fanboy fainting at your feet. Yet, I think you don't know who I am, which is probably because I'm too intimidated by your genius to, uh... talk to you. (omg call me plz!!)

Okay, I just want you to go read everything everything everything on NopeSpace. TODAY.
99. I read your fic a long time before I met you on LJ, and when I did meet you, I think I fanboyed you embarrassingly. Your Dudley is one of the great unsung accomplishments of this fandom.
Clipped Wings (R, Snape/Harry) by

This fic is many things. It's a grand old Snarry melodrama of the finest kind -- a tearjerker, with just a little ray of hope at the end. It's also a brilliant AU wherein the Muggle world has triumphed over the Wizard; Teka doesn't shy away from the dire implications. And what surprised me most is that it also does great things for the character of Dudley, who is vital to this story, and is granted a nuanced, believable, even sympathetic portrayal.
More to come.
A very happy birthday to
sedesdraconis (whose name does not contain an underscore *sheepish*), and a happy autumn to the rest.
