Nano total: 11070. Did a bit over 1667 today, and it wasn't a strain really, it was going pretty easy.

I worried for a while that I wouldn't be able to find enough things to talk about to fill so much space, which is because I'm a short story writer. I'm actually now beginning to see how novels get so long. There can be a lot of ground to cover, particularly I guess when you're introducing your own world. Fanfic lends itself extraordinarily well to brief stories for that reason.

I got a new keyboard and it's harder to type on because it isn't exactly the same as the old nasty one I'd had for years.
