I went off on a complete tangent the last few days, suddenly deciding to write the entire life story of the antagonist's parents. Turns out they were the servants of a rich family in England, which gives me many happy opportunities to write "rumour" and "practise" and "trousers" again. I swear, my brain mourns the loss of Britglish.
