I was a cashier for many years so I feel your pain. These days, I almost never dig for change unless I happen to see it in my wallet when I'm pulling out my money. I just toss it in the bottom of my purse until it weighs about 15 pounds, then scoop it out into a jar until it's full enough to go to Coin Star. Which reminds me, I actually meant to do that today...
