+"But Youth Of Course", my entry for the Fantasia Challenge at [livejournal.com profile] pornish_pixies. Neville/Remus, Harry/Neville, and a little Harry/Sirius. Heed the rating, but it's mostly just an excuse for some teacher/student fantasy. One hundred percent angst-free. Gasp.

Do you want to know what I imagined?

[livejournal.com profile] dphearson, I got your gift today. Chocolate with chile powder? Odd, says I! I had an ungodly amount of candy already at work today, so I haven't tried yours yet, but I'm very curious indeed. Thank you.

One day, every family will have a robot assistant. This is quite scary -- I can't get over their *eyes*. There's no good reason for a robot to be humanoid as opposed to some more efficient shape, and there's certainly no reason for them to have such frighteningly beautiful eyes.

Ah, but did you expect anything different? :-)

Actually, it is quite delicious, and has become a bit a fad item here in Portland- they sell out quickly. When you eat it, allow it to melt slowly in your mouth- best effect there.

Well...apparently, it's good. I didn't like it, but I've forgotten the reasons for this. But the lady in it owns a chocolate shop, and everyone likes her chocolate because the secret ingredient is chili, and I'm sure that's also symbolic of something at some point.

Heh. That probably about sums it up.

My first thought on seeing the NS-5 commercial was wow. How did they wrangle the ability to show that film preview without the green MPAA screen in front of it? After seeing the website, I couldn't help but wonder if my first assumption was correct or not. But no one has yet even won the Loebner prize, so I can't imagine that these are for real.

Ah, ok. It's a preview for the film version of the "I, Robot" stories. Which I have never read, but at least I do know what the 3 Laws are.

Ah, is it? I had that thought too, but the friend who sent me the link was convinced it was real. I don't think I saw where the Three Laws were referenced on the site, but I didn't look at everything... or perhaps just not closely enough.

Thanks for clearing that up. See, I knew you were smart.

Google does my thinking for me.

3LawsSafe flashes up as a little animation at the very end of the commercial.
