It doesn't look like the outcome of round IV will be affected, but I just thought y'all might like to know what was up.
I couldn't take the cat to the vet on Wednesday because of car problems, butkeladryb was nice enough to give us a ride there today. After making us wait for two hours (there was some kind of emergency that had thrown all the appointments off), all they could do was weigh her and take her temperature; she was too aggressive to allow an examination. They said, fine, we'll just anesthetize her. Except that we didn't have time to do that, because keladryb and I had to get to our respective jobs by 4pm, and we'd already been waiting for two hours.
So they give me an appointment for a week from today, and tell me to give her baby food (deslea's suggestion) and antacids. Does anyone know if it's safe to give a liquid antacid to a cat? She's bad with taking pills, but fine with licking medicine off her paws.
By the way, they charged me $40 for the appointment. Delightful.
