I do like Scooter Girl, though I have to agree that she's a comedian with a good voice rather than a singer who's funny. I just hope that once she inevitably gets cut, she realizes that and finds a way to make money at it.
And whether or not Simon is gay (personally, I'm thinking if he is, he's repressed it rather brutally), he is a freaking homophobe. Look at the way he treated Clay Aiken all throughout AI2-- you're too "broadway"-- aka gay.
Well, that's true. I was also not very happy with the way he's been treating the butch girl this season. I think he called her a "confused young lady" and said a few other things, which I heard as "Hi, could you possibly be a bit less of a dyke? Thanks".
Of course, this only increases my sad fanboy crush on him righteous anger at his cruelty!
