Sadly, the bulk of my PoA reaction has been spread out into individual conversations, squeesome personal journals, arguments... the like. i just can't put my thoughts down coherently or in one place.
but i just wanted you to know that I CONCUR - with the general mood of your reaction, if not the details that grabbed my attention the most.
and my father had very similar reactions to your mother, coming from a similar state of non-involvement - he liked the lack of exposition, enjoyed the film as a whole, and he hadn't liked the first two.
just saw it for my third time. ^_^ i loved it all the more. i adore movie-peter, because he is so vaudeville... Pin stripes.... Well, pin stripes are just plain awesome. i don't think they really need any further justification. >:} (fudgefudgefudge<3!)
so, so, so sexy... the music in this one had me squirming.
