Kindred Spirits (R, Filch/Peter) by

For me, there is no Filch but Delphi's. When she said she'd write this pairing for me, my hopes were sky-high, and god did she ever deliver.
As in all of Delphi's work, she puts you right there in the moment, puts stone and steel under your hands, lets you smell skin and dust and silver-polish. And she knows how people think, their private wishes and shards of memory -- Argus particularly, of course, lonely and inward-turned, always allowed his canonical obsessiveness and cruelty even as we can't help but sympathize with him.
My only wish for this short piece is that there could be MORE. I never wanted it to end.
'He gives Peter a pair of manacles to polish, for no other reason than to stand behind him and watch the steel links clink through the boy's soft hands. The back of Peter's head brushes against him over and over, and he sees Peter flushing pink, breathing hard.'
And there could be other things I was going to post about, but now I can't remember what they are. Oh, here's one:
The Fangirl Abuse Hotline by Sheana. All I can say is BWAH. This was appropriately pointed out to me by
