snapesupport chat, some interesting discussion of Peter came up. I thought you Peter fans out there might be interested to see the relevant bits.

And then we went on about Shakespeare for a while. A bit later, the discussion came back around to Peter again:

I'll be very curious to see how Timothy Spall will handle the role. He's certainly a more than capable actor, and does have a knack for creating characters who are indeed pathetic, yet somehow getting the audience to feel for them too.
