Well, the WoW expansion is all up on us. I had a few goals, and I pretty much completed them all. The only thing I wanted to do and couldn't was down Razorgore, which was due to wankery in my former guild that I didn't have much control over.



The raid basks in Ossirian's warm, glowing, warming glow. _hannelore is in there somewhere, but it was kinda dark. Outdoor raid zones FTW.

I've been trying to surrender myself to House fandom, but it sort of suffers from the typical disease of young slash fandoms, which is the tendency for every fic to be about Coming Out. This is very boring. Fandoms tend to improve after they've aged for a few years and everyone has had the opportunity to get over it and write stories that are about something interesting.

Channel Z (alibi_factory) = best so far. Not slash, though.

bowdlerized is obligated to comment on this post, so for her benefit I will mention that I accidentally watched Six Feet Under for about 15 minutes. I thought it was an independent film. I'm so ashamed.

Ossirian is a serious asshole, grats on getting him down. I've done Razorgore once, but as a druid it was entirely too nervewracking and too much work. So I skip BWL night one, and pop in after we've done him. :P

I can't get into new fandoms. It's really sort of sad.

I enjoyed our Razorgore attempts before the guild collapsed in drama. Raiding as a hunter is fairly boring, so it was fun to actually have something vital to do for a change.

I also have a 60 priest, but I rarely get to play him because his gear is crappy (the troll priest wearing Tier 0 in the Ossy picture is me) and I've tended to be in guilds that were desperately short on hunters. I kept going to MC way beyond my patience level primarily because if I didn't show up, they would have difficulty doing Magmadar. :P

A bunch of people from my former guild are forming a new one in BC, so my hopes are pretty high for doing some good progression. How is your raid guild handling the transition? So many 40-man guilds are breaking up.

I will happily never go see Razorgore or Vael ever again. Other than that, I actually don't mind BWL, and I actually like fighting the drakes. But eh. I'll take ZG any day of the week. :p

See, though, I would think hunters would be fun. :) I rolled a druid then a priest and got them both to 60. And let me tell you how tired I am of healing the ungrateful cows. :P

To be quite honest, nobody knows what we're going to do after BC. Most people are adapting a "wait and see when we're all 70" approach, but... I can see a number of people in my guild hitting 70 sometime before the end of February, while the rest of us working stiffs take till October. And that's going to be harder than everyone thinks. So far we're determined to stick together and be bf 4-eva and all that stuff, but I really don't see it lasting.

And dude, what server are you on? I'll totally come visit. :D

ZG is fun, especially when you're seeing how fast you can chain pull it. :) That's really the only thing I enjoy about playing my hunter, I like controlling how fast we go. In my old (old) guild the warriors pulled, now THAT was boredom.
