In response to this, let's talk about songs that make you happy. That is certainly one of mine.

Also:

What does this song mean? Is it ironic? I don't even care.

And:

Offensive? Maybe! However, when I had a commute, I used to listen to the South Park movie soundtrack... a lot. Something about it instantly de-stresses me.

What about you guys? What song makes you happy as soon as you hear it?

That Wham! video made me laugh like a hyena. Wow, good thing neither I nor anyone I knew ever dressed anything like that ... er ... dressed like that after digital cameras and the internet existed.

Everything about Wham! makes me smile! And not only because of the 80's fashions. :D

Lisztomania by Phoenix makes me happy. It just swings so gorgeously and the repetition of "not easily offended/not hard to let it go" in the lyrics makes me feel physically unburdened as I listen to it. :) Another one is Ship Of Fools by World Party, which contrasts the pessimistic lyrics with such a gloriously infectious build up in the chorus that it's almost impossible not to feel uplifted as Kurt Wallinger wails 'Save me from tomorrow'!
