Thank you. It was, actually. Started with an early-morning chat with deslea, proceeded to catching up on sleep, and then a blissfully quiet house for the entire afternoon. (Yes, I am the kind of misanthrope who asks for time alone as a birthday present.) Then the power went out, so I played the piano for the first time in a while. Came close to mastering Ravel's "Forlane", which always makes me think of Remus Lupin.
