Sadly, I don't have time to participate in scribbulus_ink's Classic Canon Challenge, but I'm sure some of you do.

I did the interview meme far back in the mists of history, but it seems to be making the rounds again. I know a lot more people on LJ this time, so hey, I'll go for it.

The idea is that you comment and ask me five questions about myself, my fic, or anything else that strikes your fancy. I'll do my best to answer them, and then I'll ask you five questions in return. So ask away. :)

I have just spent the past couple of hours preparing a lesson for tonight all the while thinking about *all* the questions I have to ask! This is bad for me! Can I ask here? Ok, condensed down to five:
1)you seem to have a wealth of knowledge of many things and that which impresses me most is linguistics. Are you self taught or did you study ( assuming you have not lied about your age, you have squeezed a lot of studying into precious few years! )
2)which historical character ( real ) would you most like to meet?
3)I know you particularly like Snape but you also like Pettigrew - what is the attraction there?
4) If you were stranded on a desert island and could take only one book what would you take? ( apart from a religous text that is )and if it isn't asking an extra question, why?
5) what is your shoe size?!!
