pauraque_bkOops, I didn't post for a long time. Problem with Twitter is so many of my LJ friends are there that I sometimes feel like I'm posting but... I'm not.
It's been a good week.
1) New ISP. The old one used to be okay, but now they're on the verge of going bankrupt, and the service has been going steadily downhill. It was to the point where I was noticing the slowness not only in online games, but even just trying to browse the web. Not cool. The reason I didn't switch a long time ago is that our only other choice was Comcast, and I'd heard bad things, but now that I'm trying it I wish I had before. Completely solid so far. (Comcast did not pay me to write this, but if they would like to pay me to continue saying nice things about them, I am not above it.)
2) The people who live above us are moving out. This is good because they had a tendency to have 4am screaming matches. The landlord also said that they never answered his phone calls, among other issues, so he offered to let them out of their lease and they took the hint.
3) The landlord fixed our bathtub drain. He's my hero.
4) Finally finally finally got my mother's medical records released to me. All of them this time. And it only cost me 60 bucks. >_<
