I have finally -- I think -- finished putting up all my fic on AO3. Over the years quite a few things had gotten lost in locked comms or buried in years-old non-memoried posts. I've been acutely aware of this for some time but was too lazy to do anything about it until now.

I tried to make this a comprehensive archiving of absolutely everything fanfictional I've ever posted online, whether I'm particularly proud of it or not, just so I can confidently say yes, if you remember it, it's there. I also included not-quite-fic things like filks and the text of the dread balloon game.

Re-reading all of this was quite a trip through my brain over the past decade or so. Some of the fics I'd remembered turning out horribly were not as bad as I'd thought, and some of the ones that were popular at the time were not as good as I expected them to be. I don't even remember writing some of the more minor ficlets and drabbles.

Many, many gift fics and beta credits for people who aren't around anymore. Gone but not forgotten -- I put everything up with the author's notes they came with. And backdated them to the original posting date, which I'm glad AO3 lets you do. I like seeing things in the right order.

Now, AO3, you are never allowed to go kaput or start sucking really bad, or I will be very annoyed.

CONGRATULATIONS on your achievement! Doesn't that make you feel oddly nostalgic? I did the same thing recently, and it was weird to re-read old stuff (and go: "Oh my god, I wrote that?!". I couldn't be arsed to backdate them, though, even though I kept thinking that it makes a lot of sense.

Yeah, total nostalgia trip. The 2000s were a rough decade for me in many ways, but I sure had a lot of fun too.
