Resolution :: Battle of the Jacks

I realize that pointless poll week was some time back, but humor me. This poll isn't entirely pointless; I really do want to know about the screen resolutions, since I do web design.

NOT an easy poll! Man, and here I was thinking I didn't like the name "Jack." So many yummy ones to choose from...

I use 1024 x 768 res, but always keep my browser windows sized to 800x600. If that helps. :)

I've heard that the average screen size is still 800x600, though I think among the dedicated net crowd (which I'd say is what you're going to find on LJ), it's going to be higher. When you spend more time in a place, you're going to tend to make it more comfortable.

WHat a choice, to have to decide between Jack Bauer, Jack Sparrow, and Jack the Pumpkin King! You are cruel.

I suppose I really like Daniel and Athos better than Jack Bauer, so Sparrow it was. But the Pumpkin King was close.

You probably don't know this about me, but I have a bit of an obsession where it concerns "Jacks".

I picked Jack the Pumpkin King, but it was really, really close between him and Captain Jack Sparrow. But, y'know, the former is a better singer. :D

I have a bitty bitty screen and it's always a pain to have to keep scrolling to the right.
