So, when I accidentally mark something as spam in my Yahoo mail account, how do I remove that address from the blocked list? The help files are impenetrable.

I accidentally spamfoldered mail from lj-notify and amanuensis1. :\

Oops. If I did that, my email would drop to near zero. lj-notify is my most frequent correspondent.

I deliberately let my Yahoo mail accounts expire a few years back due to the excess of spam lurking in them at the time so I'm afraid I can't be of much help. But good luck on your mission!

lj_notify is my most frequent correspondent too! I managed to get amanuensis1 back in Yahoo's good graces, but not lj_notify yet. Well, I'm sure I'll work it out.

To remove ("unblock") an address:

1. From the Blocked Addresses list, check the box to the left of the address you wish to remove.
2. Click the "Delete Checked" button at the bottom of the Blocked Addresses list.

And to *find* that list, go to "Mail Options" (click on the link on the upper right of the page) and then to the "Blocked Addresses" link

I see the list, but neither lj-notify nor A's address are on it. There are no check-boxes, either.

Oh! No, I just found it ironic that my name was on your spamblockage but so was the lj-notify, which meant that I couldn't say, "Oh, that's ok, if I need his attention I can just leave a comment on his lj--d'oh, no I can't, he won't get those either!" Too goofy.

Should obeyed my instincts and gone with the smiley. ^_^

Ahee, it's all good. When I know my email's not working right, I check the recent comments page fairly regularly anyway. But as you can see, I did get your most recent email, so it's a happy ending. :)

Might it be possible to do a quick and dirty and add them to your list of addresses on Yahoo, get them back that way? Nothing special about lj_notify@livejournal.com.
