Yes I post nothing but amusing work stories and pictures of dead WoW bosses. But. Something is happening. I'm so unhappy. I think I have an idea of how to become less unhappy. Not really ready to say what. It might just be a passing fancy, you never know with me. To work it out I might need... a journal. I never write just to myself anymore.

Unrelatedly, _hannelore sent me a pair of socks. It was kinda Dumbledore-y for a moment.

They're awesome! They're brown and warm! I never buy warm socks because they're pretty useless here most of the time, but (here's an amusing work story) we have no heat in our building at work, and the doorknob has fallen off the door and hasn't been fixed yet, so we can't have the door closed during business hours. (We deadbolt it to lock it at night of course.) So it gets very, very cold in the store, and especially in the back office. So I spend each day being cold and discussing with my boss, minions, and customers how it is cold. And then I walk home in the cold and call _hannelore and scream I'M COLD at her. Hence the sock delivery. She is a good friend...

Aw! Warm socks are the best! I am wearing wool socks as we speak. Being somewhere excruciatingly cold and not being allowed to leave is torturous.

I'm glad the socks arrived so swiftly! Be careful with those hand warmers, they can totally burn you. Not that I've ever done such a thing.
