There's a great discussion going on of why people hate Peter but like other "evil" characters at isiscolo's journal here. Especially don't miss dailyplanet's take on Peter and Snape: "I like to think the most important difference between Snape and Peter is that Peter is a success."

EDIT: Is everyone else having comment problems too? I've been getting comment notices hours or days after they're posted, and I'm still not sure I'm getting all of them. So if you've recently commented on an old post, give me a nudge to make sure I see it.
